The following instructions were copied from Kennesaw Mountain's web site.

Genesis

Kennesaw Mountain Markers, LLC -- www.exarin.com -- valinor@olagrande.net

The Genesis allows for adjustable timing without opening the gun, and provides pinpoint accuracy to settings guaranteed never to drift due to vibration.

Installation

Remove the current board (two screws), thread the 9v connector down into the grip, screw the board down, be careful of the trigger-switch, and put the on/off switch cover over the switch on the board properly.

Plug in the solenoid, NOTE- the plug will not insert all the way, this is normal.

Programming

You may program the Genesis through the trigger for all modes of fire, if you simply turn the power on, the board defaults to true semi.

BOTH TOURNEY LOCKS (DIP SWITCHES) MUST BE OFF TO PROGRAM THE GENESIS

Hold the trigger down (with the power turned off), turn the power on, the status LED it will flash and turn off, Release the trigger.

You are now in program mode. Tap the trigger once to select a fire mode, or twice to select a burst mode. After you make your selection (1 or 2) wait 2 seconds (or if you can see the status LED, until it flashes)

If you selected 1, you may now enter the fire mode in trigger clicks:

Trigger Clicks

Mode

1

Sniper

2

Turbo

3

Auto Response

4

Full Auto

If you selected 2, enter (in trigger clicks) how many shots you want in your burst.

In either case, wait 2 seconds after the last trigger tap, or until the LED blinks and stays on, indicating the marker is ready to fire.

Timing

There are additional settings in the Genesis; they are Rate of Fire and Dwell. You should not normally need to change them; the factory defaults will run most guns without any problem. They are provided for fine-tuning.

Dwell How long the solenoid is opened. Default- 10ms

Rate of Fire How fast the gun attempts to cycle default- 10balls per sec

To reset to factory defaults—Hold the trigger down and turn the power on, keep the trigger held down for 5 seconds, the light will flash indicating a factory reset.

To change a timing setting

Hold the trigger down and turn the power on (like you are programming a fire mode)

Click the trigger the number of times corresponding to the constant you wish to change:

3 – Rate of Fire

4 – Dwell

The light will blink once indicating acceptance of your choice.

Click the trigger number that corresponds to "add to", "subtract from" or "set exactly":

1 – add to

2 – subtract from

3 – set exactly

This prepares the Genesis to add, subtract, or read exactly what the constant will be set to. The light will flash twice.

Now click in the amount to modify, the light will flash 3 times. You will remain in program mode, so you can set multiple constants, or select a fire mode as normal.

Examples:

To add 1 to ROF-

Click 3 times, wait for flash (select ‘fire pulse’)

Click 1 time, wait for flash (select ‘add to’)

Click 1 time, wait for flash (1 ball per second)

To subtract 2ms from Dwell-

Click 4 times, wait for flash (select ‘bolt holdoff’)

Click 2 times, wait for flash (select ‘subtract from’)

Click 2 times, wait for flash (2ms)

To set ROF to 11 bps

Click 3 times, wait for flash (select ROF)

Click 3 times, wait for flash (select set exactly)

Click 11 times, wait for flash (11bps)

The Genesis will remember these settings even with the battery removed.

Tournament Locks

To lock the marker in Semi-Auto, turn on switch 1, to lock it into Turbo-9, turn on switch 2.

If both switches are on, Genesis will default to true semi.
