This is the first bolt that I have seen that has a different "head" and "tail".  I found this very interesting.  The two pieces of this bolt are held together by a stainless steel set screw.  The heads can not be exchanged because once they are installed they are then turned as a unit to insure that it is straight and true.  This is very important for the close tolerances, so DO NOT try to separate the head from the tail!!

Everyone, repeat after me....Ertalyte is our friend!!  That is what the head of the DEZign bolt is made from.  It's light and self lubricates, like Delrin.  That means, less kick and less maintenance.  The tail is made from Delrin.

Is the DEZign bolt worth the extra money??  That is a good question.  The DEZign bolt is the most expensive aftermarket bolt currently available.  But to honestly answer that I would have to say that depends on your budget.  If money is tight, maybe not, but then again, do you really NEED that pair of DYE Stickies??  In this day and age of paintball, I have seen too many people spend far more money on things that do not effect performance one bit.  Ultimately, the choice is yours as to whether this bolt is too expensive for you or not.

The Details

• SIZE: The DEZign bolt is 5 3/4 inches long.  I was recently told that the DEZign bolt can be custom ordered shorter if desired.
• STYLE: The DEZign bolt consists of one large hole in the center with ten smaller holes around it.  NOTE: if you look closely there is an open face bolt shown in the second picture above.  The venturi style is what is normally shipped, but the open face is an available option, enquire when ordering from DEZign.
• COLOR: Available with a white (Ertalyte) head and black (Delrin) tail.
• MSRP: Price is $65.
