Holding the MAXair bolt you can feel that it is not made of your everyday Delrin.  While I am no plastics expert, whatever Performance Concepts is doing with this bolt, it has a different texture.  Like our love of all the aftermarket bolts, the MAXair's use of Delrin gives us a lighter bolt for less kick and it requires NO MAINTENANCE, i.e. no need to put DOW 33 on the bolt.

Some like their bolts long, others like them short, with the MAXair you get your choice!!  Every manufacturer has to have something that helps them stand out from the rest.  For some it's a gimmick and others it's a quality option.  Performance Concepts has hit the "quality option nail on the head".  They are the first company that I know of that will allow you to custom order your delrin bolt in any length from the standard 5 9/16 inches long to a minimal 3 1/2 inches long.

In a recent side-by-side bolt test utilizing a chrono the MAXair bolt was the most consistent bolt over all bolts tested.  Those results can be viewed by clicking here.
